* - Why we changed our "Guest Book" format:
As know, there are thousands of marketing ploys pervading the internet trying to sell everything conceivable, commonly called "spam". Most often the pitches are crass and unwanted. As often as not some solicitations may also represent unethical or questionably moral conduct (i.e. "Earn $2,000 and hour" or "Visit our [porn] site for the best ...").
These spammers have now devised automated systems to log into "guest books" all over the world and surreptitiously insert their own advertising into legitimate web sites. Over the past few months our "Guest Book" (and we are confident many, many others) have been deluged by this automated advertising. It's gotten to a point that it is now occurring on almost a daily basis!
We do not believe you, as our valued visitor, should be subjected to this insulting barrage of solicitous garbage! Sadly - we have even experienced some people (i.e. high school students) using the guest book to publicly disparage other students and businesses (which, in the end, merely demonstrates to all, their own ignorance and stupidity).
